Jean Bisnaire

Niche Decor’s owner, creative director and senior designer, Jean Bisnaire creates timeless spaces that provide innovative and affordable solutions to various client needs. Being in the industry for over 25 years now his portfolio shows a great range of residential to commercial projects.  Whether you are looking to build a home from the blueprint stage or take your existing space from out-dated to outstanding, Jean is who you want to connect with to get the job done right the first time. 

Jean’s design philosophy of casual living is evident in all his work as well as the product selection displayed in our two showrooms.  He has an uncanny ability to envision a space at it’s full potential and turn houses into homes.

Shima Yazdan

Our VP of Operations, Shima Yazdan’s expertise and industry knowledge is instantly recognized upon meeting her.  She travels alongside Jean as a buyer to domestic and international trade shows and having been with the company for over 13 years now she’s got a pulse on what our clients want.  Her style and eye for design can be seen through our social media sites as she shares with our followers showroom products, behind the scenes of our projects coming together and of course our completed design work.

Elisse Shimonov

With an education in art fundamentals and a degree in Interior Design, Designer Elisse Shimonov brings a wealth of knowledge to the Niche Decor team. Her style is derived from her experiences – she has been involved with the design of custom homes, commercial projects and set design.  Elisse enjoys working one-on-one with clients and loves when that moment of trust is reached and everything comes together!

Abbas Rizvi

With over six years in the visual merchandising and retail industry, Abbas Rizvi comes with experience and style.  He is great at putting people at ease whether it’s through the relationships he builds with them, or the spaces he creates for them.

He loves being able to follow through on a project from concept, to full realization. Finding those special pieces and designing a space to enjoy for years to come is so satisfying!

Sarah Macey

With an education in fine art and interior design, and years of experience in customer service and sales, Sarah Macey loves getting to know our customers, and helping them put together beautiful, functional and personal spaces.

She enjoys designing and accessorizing the settings in our showroom intrigued by how you can completely change the feel of a piece of furniture or art, just by changing its juxtaposition to other colours and pieces.

Ivana Narducci

With and education in Advertising & Graphic Design,  Marketing Coordinator Ivana Narducci has taken on the role of managing our social media platforms, the design of print and digital marketing material as well as the coordinating, execution & management of our events. She effectively applies all her experience to continue to grow and expand Niche Decor’s brand identity and her genuine love and passion for taking on new creative challenges keep her driven and inspired.

Danielle Kempt

Operations Coordinator, Danielle Kempt, comes to us with and education in Interior Design and knowledge in Furniture/Upholstery Design. Her experience ensures the maintaining of vendor relations while ensuring that client expectations are not just met but exceeded. Her strength in logistics and coordination guarantees our projects runs smoothly and on-time.

 

 

 

 

Peter Holung

Peter Holung comes to us with over 20 years of customer service experience.  His calm demeanour and kind personality makes him the perfect addition to our team as he looks after the everyday warehouse needs in our Aurora location and ensures customer satisfaction by providing on-call product assembly, repairs, and display assistance.

Mario Kareklas

Years of experience in the moving industry has made Mario Kareklas the perfect warehouse coordinator.   His organization skills and attention to detail keep our deliveries running smoothly and our showroom stock, organized. His eagerness to please make him a fan favourite with clients and colleagues alike!
